Elder : Anthony Bá Nguyễn
Pastor
Anthony Bá Nguyễn accepted Christ at a refugee camp in the Philippines through a dramatic event, paralysis of both legs. He completed his Master of Divinity at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. Anthony Nguyen had served as a member of Board of Director, teaching, preaching and pastoral care pastor at San Jose Community Church for 9 years He serves as a pastor at Living Word Community Church.
Pastor Anthony’s desire as a church; is to be within the community proclaiming the Word of Christ, and providing good deeds whenever possible to the community.
Pastor Anthony is a man who loves God, God's people and His Word. He enjoys preaching and teaching the Word of God with power, conviction, and simplicity at every opportunity that avails without compromise.
Pastor Anthony’s hope for Church is that we continue to be open to all people and to the work of God in their lives, and stay focused on building God's kingdom and not our own; that we shine the light of hope and faith to our community, whoever our community becomes in these years of transition; and that we worship the Lord in Spirit and in Truth.
He married to Tiffany Thanh Nguyen on July 27, 1996. He enjoys family time; relaxing, reading, fishing and learning whatever he can to share with others.
Elder : Jonathan Tu
Youth Pastor
Pastor Jonathan Tu was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Pastor Jonathan is married to Mrs. Dao Phan for ten years and they have two children: Phoebe Hong-An Tu and Micah An Tu. Jonathan graduated from Leavell College and Undergraduate Program of New Orleans Baptism Theological Seminary with his BACM. Jonathan later received his Master of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in 2008.
Jonathan started serving Jesus Christ as a Youth Leader at First Vietnamese Baptist Church of New Orleans for three years while he was attending Leavell College in New Orleans. After Graduated from Leavell College, he was served as a Youth Leader at First Vietnamese Evangelical Baptist Church of San Jose for six years while attended Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. After six years Jonathan felt God called him to a new direction and he then join Grace Alliance for two years as the Youth Pastor. Now Pastor Jonathan is serving at Living Word Community Church as a Youth Pastor.
